The go with cloth nappies?? I'm new to them!?
For the next bub we are thinking of trialling cloth nappies, to help cut some of the costs that come with disposables.
We have only used disposables with our son , so my partner is a little bit weary of changing, because disposables were very convenient. But he's at least agreed to try them while we are at home all day..sounds confusing I know.
But, I've gone on all these websites, and there are PUL covers, inserts, doulbers, pilchers I'm so confused!!
Can someone help me out a bit, is it worth trying them out?
Please note I am talking about the cloth nappies shaped like disposables, not the terry towelling squares.
Also, I am from Australia, can any Australian recommend a brand? Who to avoid? Thanks!
im autralian and i use hautes one size pockets. absolutely fantastic and soooo easy to use. they go on just like a disposable, so my husband can use them quite easily, and becuase they are one size they can be used til toilet training.
just as an aside i used disposable for the first few weeks as it is just soooo much easier when you are goin through 10 - 12 nappies a day. also they are generally a little big for newborns.
good luck and have fun with your new nappies (and your new babies lol)
