Stereo speakers arent strong alternative now?

I had to get a wiring harness for my 96 Lincoln continental with 6 speakers Premium Sound. I heard that the stock amp is 80x4 watts, so I'm a CD that is 80x4 watts. but I bypassed the amp ... I think, and now the speakers arent very loud even at max. is it just because they are speakers of higher power than my CD player or IIS is a reason. the wiring harness had 4 son of speakers to move forward the CD back to the inputs. I noticed that there was two unused son and a constant sayd power and the other was on the ground. I touched them together and they gave rise. am I supposed to connect the power and ground to feed an amp or something else?

Amp always have better sound quality than the internal power of a unit head. Have you run all the new son or simply jump on the am?
